Hosting Multiple Websites

Hi all,

This is probably classified as a noob question.

I currently have a reseller account with hosting company and have 5 websites running on it. Now if I want to move the hosting somewhere else with just hosting not a reseller account I will not have WHM panel and just cPanels for each domain.

Will I have to setup subdomains for each website to run from the main domain or will each still have its own domain account?

I have never done it like this so not sure how it works.

If I do go for a reseller account again will 10GB be enough for 2 forums, 2 normal information related and 1 shop (small) website?

I can answer you second part.

And the answer is that depends on the traffic and size of the attachments of the forums

Depends on the package you take , if you take one package that allows x amount of additional websites hosting , then it will appear as addon on domain under the main websites cpanel account.But you can create separate FTPs etc for them

Look for a Hosting package that allows add on domains.. This will allow you to host multiple domains on a single package.. note that some providers may have server resource limits on a per package level and that multiple sites under a single package may exhaust your accounts server resources very quickly..

New question, is there a specific reason why you want to do this or does it come down to price?
