House Alarm timeout

So, my house alarm has gone off, and I know its a false alarm - ADT have called and told all is ok, how long until it stops blaring, or are the neighbours in for a pleasant day?

or
5 minutes ... then silence for 5 minutes, then 5 minutes repeat infinitely
or
5 minutes ... then silence for 5 minutes, then 5 minutes repeated 5 times

Depends on the unit, and then .. some units have configuration options for that.

Mine goes off for 2 mins then shuts up.

Mine goes off for a set amount of time (3 mins I think) and then turns off as long as nothing triggers it again.

I asked the guys that triggered it in the first place to go outside, and lock up again. hopefully that will make her happy again. It was still going when they left though.
