I guess so, sort of like plumbers as well - take my hat off to them, a thankless but very needed trade.
 
I'm reserving all celebrations for when the large majority of vulnerable people have been vaccinated and final easing of restrictions is announced allowing the entertainment and hospitality industries to open with minimal restrictions and concerns for further shutdowns...

I doubt I'll make it to midnight, maybe, but I'll be drinking same as I do everyday of the year.

This has been a bad year, probably the first of 9 in a bad decade - so what else are you gonna do but drink.

having a quiet evening with a late supper (hoping the elec.stays on) will watch TV at 12 for anything that may be of interest then will have a bath & jump into bed for a nice relaxing sleep till i wake up in the morning
 
I don't have any plans today, tomorrow I am having a lamb roast and some pool time with my kid. Tonight I have documents to review, ushering 2021 in commercially...
 
I’m completely apathetic to what is simple another calendar roll over so I’ll likely have some wine and play some games.

If I happen to make it past midnight it will be by pure accident or because I was simply otherwise occupied to ignore the time.
