I am looking for an app that will allow me to quickly transfer items between my Android phone, tablet and PC. An instant messenger of sorts, that works across the cloud, or even over a local WiFi connection, but only for MY devices.
I find myself constantly needing to send text snippets, URLs, pictures, videos APKs and other files between my phone, PC and tablet. I'm looking for a solution that really is instant.
It needs to be as simple as pasting text into some Windows app and hitting send, or right-clicking on a file, choosing "Send to" followed by the target location/device, or dragging and dropping items onto the Windows app.
From the Android point of view, it needs to be as simple as using the Android "share" feature and choosing the app, hitting send, and it appears on my PC or other devices in seconds (depending on item size)
Right now I am using Evernote and to transfer snippets of text and pictures, and Dropbox for larger items. But I need to first copy my stuff into a new Evernote note or Dropbox folder, then wait for the items to upload/sync with the relevant servers first, then manually force my Android device to sync. Way too much hassle, and very time consuming when you want to do this 10 times a day.
