Not yet, but it's next on the list. There's a crazy draft coming through a bunch windows so it makes more sense to tackle that first.
 
My wife got me a Maya The Bee pj's , embarrassing in public but Oooh so warm.
Otherwise will use the Air con on heat for half an hour and the gas heater dies the rest.

Turn on to low 3 hours before bed-time
Even the dogs have a warming pad under their beds
 
I'm busy conducting an experiment, whether alcohol can warm one in the winter and cool one down in the summer. I started this experiment, back in 1992 and is yet to come to an conclusion. As there is a plethora of elements and variables to consider, I don't foresee reaching a conclusion very soon.
 
145mm isotherm in the ceiling throughout the house. Its like a blanket made from recycled bottles. It made the biggest difference for keeping cool in summer and warm in winter and you only have to install it once. 2nd I put the silver isolation below the beams. Made a double difference really.

After that just the aircon with hot and cold to change the temperature when need be. its on for 30 minutes and the isotherm keeps the temp for longer.
 
If you havent insulated your house properly with isotherm thats easy to do yourself, then honestly youre either baking in summer and freezing in winter

I echo this whole heartedly!

There was a massive special at Chamberlains 3 years ago got the thickest one for 40% off and delivered.

The house is so much cooler in summer and much warmer in winter.
 
I insulated the house when building it.

40mm styrofoam between the double wall brick. House stays at a fairly constant temp.
Still have to put in the double glazed windows, but even without those its actually noticeable how comfortable the place is tempwise.
 
I have an open fireplace, heats the place up nicely but burns logs like crazy.
