How do you keep yourself warm in winter? Do you have central heating or do you rely on strategically placed heaters around the home? Do you warm yourself in front of a fire or do you prefer a sweater in lieu of the flue?

Dress warmer...and a nice hot water bottle on the knees when gaming in winter....
(And border collies on the bed for additional warmth and craziness....)

I mostly use my own body heat. At most, I use the heater no more than 2 weeks in winter.

I love the 'cold', must be the Scot in me...

I sleep all year round with the sliding door to my room open so the dogs can get outside to use the toilet. Duck down duvet, long sleeve fleece lined shirt, track suits pants and a gown is usually what I sleep in when it gets to 0-5 over night.

20 year old Morso closed wood fire place in our lounge which provides heat to the living area of the house...

We use a 400w wall panel electric heater in our sons room connected to a Sonof TH16 which monitors temperatures and will switch teh heater on/off as necessary.

Warm clothes? Bring out the cape union thermal wear.

But to warm up room a electric heater. Gas heaters work really great. But use way to much gas to be economical
