Oh also: does anyone else make the T so that the initial steam doesn't make the toast soggy?

Its very finicky, lowest setting results in a a piece of warm bread, put it in again, and it results in a rusk..

It's touch and go - weekend breakfasts are very volatile in our household

So my toaster gave up.. It's a regular 2 slice toaster. The damn thing only toasts 1 side of each slice now..

Looks like I'm going to have to whip out the old clothes hanger in the meantime. (if you got this reference )

5, but leave it in the toaster to cool before butter. Unless I put peanut butter on, then I stand ready with the Black cat to catch the bread
