How long does a Raru refund usually take?

Because I want to cancel my order from October last year that I'm still waiting for. Never asked for a refund from raru so just curious how long more or less.

It took a week for me to get a refund on LP's that were continuously out of stock.

I emailed cs(at)raru.co.za on a Friday evening, got a response the following Monday - sent them my banking details and the refund was processed the same week.

Great customer service actually.

Emailed them yesterday and they replied that there will be even further delays because of "a limit on imports" or something so I cancelled today and asked for a refund. Already got an email saying my request has been added to the refunds queue, so will have to wait and see how long it takes.

In the meantime my raru account has been credited with the full amount but there's no way I'm ordering anything else from them now.

Cool thanks. Also I didn't know raru owns sagamer. Member there but never posted anything though.
 
While I ordered and received my goods from Raru in the past, I recently had a experience that resulted in me requesting a refund. On the 3rd of December I ordered about 12 PC games. Estimated delivery date was two weeks later. After the 20th I phoned them to request a ETA, and was told that the expected shipping date had been moved to the 27th of December. I was told a long winded story about overseas shipping vla bla bla. Needless to say, on the 3rd of January, one month since placing the order, still no delivery. I emailed them and got the same excuse. On the 27th of January I emailed again and got another excuse about blocked flights from Europe, so I got aggressive and told them it's bullshit as two overseas orders also placed on the 3rd of December arrived within two weeks. I demanded a refund and got told that I would be refunded in store credit that would later be converted to a normal refund. Still waiting on that to happen, but I sure as hell will never buy from them again.
 
Yup since October I've ordered stuff from various other sites, all imports from the US, Europe and China and everything has arrived pretty quickly. Sounds like raru is struggling

Yeah, struggling to tell the truth and deliver good customer service

Ahh the infamous refunds queue, a bona fide Raru first!
The little gnome/troll that manages the "refunds queue" at Raru must be incredibly lazy, yeah you are in the queue.... I'll get to it in 3weeks time when I come back from my smoke break
