How long will my system keep up?

Good morning,

As the title states, the rig in my sig....is it still good for a couple of years?

Should I perhaps look at getting i7 47xx CPU or should maybe start saving and go the Newer CPU/RAM route?
Seeing as got the 2x 8GB modules free and I upgraded the GPU from R9 280 to RX580 8GB and the CPU from i3 4170 to i5 4460.




Your input on this will be appreciated.

It's fine, you can flog the 4460 and get a used 4790.

Rig is still fine, save up money for 2019 releases.

if you really want to, get the cpu upgrade ponder suggested.. otherwise, save your money for the next year or so and buy a banging system in one foul swoop next year..

Dude. I'm still waiting for my i7 2600k to die.

4 years old, still good/100%. Discontinued last year July.
But if you can save up till next year and just get a newer Gen i5 with DDR 4 ram.
