30GB with uncapped local @ R200pm, as per pre-November '05, would be a good start. Uncapped would be ideal. Amazing how we have to aspire to be in the past.
A lot of ISPs worldwide sell uncapped but the fine print says it "subject to a fair usage policy" so exceed a few hundred GBs you get a strongly worded email from your ISP to cool it or get cut off.How about we stop using the Telkom mentality, and rather go more the international norm?
Sheesh, you could swear that Telkom and the Doc have completely brain-washed you.
Uncapped @ 8mbps @ R300 - R400 at the very least.
Anything less, you're selling yourself short
the good old days
...the days with unlimited concurrent connections.
On my 4mb line, i've used 800GB in a month... so... maybe 300gb should be enough (without being greedy) of cause, uncapped would be god-send but uncapped local would be perfect.
On average how much WOULD you use a month if we weren't restricted by single digits cap?I'd be prepared to settle for however many I need.
It would be extremely varied. Right now there are some months that I download stuff simply because I don't want to feel like I'm wasting it - other months I have to get extra. An average doesnt work.On average how much WOULD you use a month if we weren't restricted by single digits cap?

Same thing applies to the speed, in UK you apply for an 8Mb line and get about 2-3Mb.
