How Many People on MB have Rain Problems?

was surprised during Dec at having no issues however already only 2 weeks into new year and have had a few days, including right now, where the quality is terrible

upload speed seems to spike higher than download oddly

Yes, it is peak time (i.e Netflix time) so downloads will be terrible.

Uploads are good because nobody is doing online backups at the moment.

no, terrible as in can't even load a normal website

and today's was only an addition to the other days, which all varied in times

but all were for just normal browsing being basically impossible
 
I have the 4G unlimited option and it use to work a treat in my area. According to the rain dashboard my closest tower is 0.5km from me direct line of sight on a hill. I live in a semi rural area in KZN with no interferance between me and the base station. It started going south about October 2020 with speeds dropping to like 1.2 download and 5.3 upload, at times there is no service at all. Since then it has been all over the place, terrible ping and speeds.
