How much does being angry actually affect your driving?

What irritates me the most is when you're driving the speed limit on a single lane road and a twat with his merc, bmw, double cab, etc comes speeding up behind you, sits on your ass and then expect you to go into the yellow lane so that he can overtake at 160km/h+ instead of just waiting for the oncoming traffic and then pass once it's safe.

The yellow lane is not there so that you can push people off the road, it's there for emergencies. I'll only move over to the yellow lane if it's an emergency vehicle trying to pass.

+1. Grates my fkn carrot. I wish I had those Leon Schuster missile launcher in the car, sometimes

being angry makes you stupid, this does not just apply to driving...

I have heard of people overtaking you and braking hard to cause a collision. Is this a common occurance?

Maaann! Something similar happened to me earlier today, old man in his fancy bmw, however he didn't overtake me but he decides to just suddenly brake in the fast lane, I hit my brakes, the car (old nissan) behind me hits the brakes, you can already picture the ripple effect.

My take on the fast/right lane, even if you're doing the speed limit, 120, 80, hell some are even 70, if a car behind is travelling faster, just get out of the way, we already have enough madness on our roads.
What;s funny is that we will move out of the right lane if its the police or an ambulance, but we can't do it for normal cars.

miserable people upset with themselves get all emotional if yet another person passes them in life. its just to much to handle. :p

you are right, just give way to the person coming up behind you, they will disappear in the distance and youll never see them again.

But I want them to follow the law

Join the club.

It is astonishing how drivers just can't be bothered to stop at a red traffic light or stop street anymore in my neck of the woods.

It also looks like most people just don't understand that if the traffic light is green for traffic going straight ahead, but red for traffic turning to the right across an intersection, that they must stop.

Most drivers just see the green light, but don't look at what direction the arrow is pointing just below it, and then proceed to turn right. :wtf:
