How much sugar are you consuming

A friend of mine used to take 6 spoons of sugar in coffee !
From time to time i would go to a meeting or something similar with him, as custom dictates, coffee & tea is usually offered by the host.
The person serving would ask "how many sugars"? My friend would reply "6 please".
The poor bugger serving would stand there with a sheepish & uncertain smile of disbelief on their face having no idea as to how to proceed :D

"6 please but don't stir it, don't like it too sweet"

I used to date a girl who'se whole family drank coffee without sugar & milk. Just pure coffee, nothing else, and they drank copious amounts of it. Strangely your tastebuds get used to it very quickly, and believe me the first coffee with sugar after you're used to that was nauseatingly sweet.

My pet hate is why manufacturers feel the need to add sugar to peanut butter? I've started making my own as sugarless PB is more expensive & usually harder to find, but it peeves me that they're ruining a basically good thing by playing on people's addiction to sugar.

Sugar free peanut butter is just horrible though.
I have been using it for almost 2 years.
I just recently changed back to yum yum and can once again enjoy peanut butter.

Rather try sugar free macadamia butter, or almond butter... MUCH more satisfying!!
