How much to convert this site?

Hi guys

I know there are many of you that do web design/programming etc, so I was wondering what you would charge to convert this site (www.twocliques.com). It's currently being hosted by wix.com, which is expensive, loads heavily(cos it's flash) and I don't have much control over the site, such as SEO etc. How much would you charge to convert it to something that I could manage myself? Would you perhaps use one of the CMS' or would you code this from scratch? I need to have it converted real soon and it needs to look exactly as it currently is.

Hey I charge R3000 for custom wordpress sites. They really easy to update and are great for any type of web site. Wordpress is also free just by the way.

Please take a look at my portfolio http://designjubilation.com which is powered by wordpress. Perhaps you have heard of http://primadonnabride.co.za which I created using wordpress. I am hard working, creative and can work under tight deadlines.

as an SEO expert I offer more than just design. for a fixed annual fee I manage everything for you. All you need to do is to login to post as many pages as you need, upload video, pictures and you can also have a gallery of your work. In short far more than you currently have.

not only this you can have social media integration and updates to your facebook and twitter accounts as well a s twitpic to publicise your latest work.

@Webslave you say you can offer more then just design yet your portfolio site is using a free wordpress template from this site http://www.topblogformula.com/wordpress-business-themes/intrepidity . Even the 1 working site in your portfolio makes use of a free template.

Please don't try and sell people things they can find online for free. You can read on my blog post http://pixelbright.co.za/blog/building-your-online-brand/ where I talk about how people, like webslave, who claim to be able to design yet they use free web site templates and scam innocent people.

@Mercurial Before you hire someone I would suggest doing some research on who you hire. I will also be more then happy to give you free advice cause I hate it them people try and scam other people.

Ethan, list a phone number on your site or a direct email. I know lots of people who don't like contact pages with just form submits on them. It create an impersonal and trying-to-hide vibe. Otherwise nice site.

Seeing that you are a SEO Expert give me one keyword that you rank well on google, and your domain name doesnt qualify as one

Word. Story of my life. So much Im actually tired of going throu this again. Funny thing thou, some1 ( my ex client) site got hacked and a free template was used. Man did i shove that in his face. Even though it was the web admin fault.

Still though, there seem to be people who would rather pay peanuts and get a freebie web template ...
Anyway let me stop here before i get too excited :)

btw will stop past pixelbright more often
 
@Geriatrix Thanks. I will update my site soon. In fact I think this weekend I will rework a few things and fix up things I have been putting off.

@Murdoc I would love it if everyone in the world knew about how scammers are selling free templates to clients. The worst thing is that its happening everyday to all types of business and people. Look at http://graemesmith.co.za/ even his site is using a free theme. I don't know if he paid for it but either way free templates is not the way to show yourself or your business professionally. Anyways I guess I should also stop here before I too get to excited. Thanks for the support.
 
I'll recreate the site using pure xhtml/css/javascript/php and mysql. It will be SEO optimized.
The user interface can be the exact same with the same functionality.
Any offer you get to do this I will do for half what they offer.
If you confirm with me that you'd like the site done.
It will be completed with in 24 hours.
The source code will be emailed to you.

If you choose you can pay me what ever you feel like.
 
Starting my own IT company and currently using Wordpress. Would like it to look professional, would have to pay the designer off every month as I can't afford a lump sum
