Remember...
1) An officer who pulls you over MUST be dressed properly in his official uniform with identifying name tag.
2) He must first indicate with his hand which vehicle he wants to stop, by pointing directly at you.
3) Then he must clearly indicate for you to stop by raising his hand in the universal stop motion - hand pointed up and palm toward you.
3) This is followed by him clearly indicating where he wants you to stop - usually by pointing at a gap along the side of the road.
4) He should then greet you and tell you why he stopped you - "Good day Sir/Madam, we are conducting a routine road block today to check on vehicle Licenses... etc."
All good, in theory.
And if they don't do this - there not a whole hell of lot a road user can do.
Aside from maybe being shot / arrested...
