How often do you get stopped at roadblocks?

WTF. Just said yesterday I've only had 3 stops in 20 years, then this morning BOOM!

Stopped in a roadblock :D

I have NEVER gone through a roadblock without being stopped. I think its the type of car that I drive. All of them in my history have always been either classic/pristine or known troublemaker cars.

Beetle/Kombi/Gusheshe/W124/Golfie(riced)(and will never rice anything again it was my first car)

Don't come across a lot of roadblocks lately, but they rarely let me pass without stopping me first.

Guess a woman driving alone in a little red Fiat is very suspicious...

Drive a red Scirocco. In and around the Melville/Auckland Park/Parktown/Braamfontein area and I get stopped at least once a week. The number of roadblocks recently has spiked out of control. Within my circle of colleagues and friends, all the people driving VWs get stopped all the time, second to that come the BMW drivers. Ironically, the two people I know that drive Ford Focus'es have never been stopped. The one guy has a disc that's been expired since he bought the car back in 2012.

It is probably to show the drivers how the indicators on their car work. :D

Got stopped today ..

Officer say : "I suspend your car"

Me: Why

Officer : You have a oil leak

Me: Laugh in his face

I got pulled over last year at OR Tambo Airport by the Metro Cop for not wearing a seat belt right by the turn off going up to the Engen Gargage to fill up petrol to return the car hire. The Metro Cops are so bad in Gauteng :-(

Young black man in a VW Chico, of course I'm getting stopped. A couple of times, the police on patrol actually swung around just to pull me over. Wasn't doing anything suspicious, just driving while black I guess.

Haven't been stopped in my current car. Also moved to Cape Town so I think that may help.

In Cape Town you hardly get stopped compared to Gauteng.

Never been stopped in my life. 10+ years driving.

Well not with me at the wheel anyway...other people driving...maybe like half a dozen times.

Hehehehe, reminds me of my Velociti days. We once got stopped, ordered to get out and lie on the flipping Road while they searched the car.

Hahaha, I've also been given a free 10 second massage on the side of the road too. Gave my younger brother, who was in full school uniform, one too. Luckily never been made to lie on the road, that's rough man.
