On topic, for me upgrades usually happen every 2-2.5 years. Now that I have an XBox for gaming, my PC is only gonna see RAM upgrades and formats to see it stay speedy.

LoL, haven't had such a good laugh, since, well...this morning...but its still hella funnyI wonder why.

When i upgrade, i try get the best just befor the crazy price jump, that way i can extend my upgrade time spaces.
Spend good money on quality MB and power supply.
Upgrade... Hmm... Not sure I've heard the word before. I'm afraid I don't know what that means.
My PC has 128kB RAM, a 386 CPU and a 2mB hard drive.

glad I'm not the only loony, a buddy of mine upgraded his pc a while ago..every 12 months or so...also depends on cash flow...did a upgrade recently cost a flippin fortune...bout R11 000...jst looking at that makes me sick...lol

4GB overpriced ram, high end SLI mobo, two [gigabyte] 8600GTs, E6850, new chasis, the works...cost him close to R20K..the last time he upgraded his pc was 8-10 months before that..
