how to cancel mweb uncapped

First you need to put your left foot in, put your right foot out, put your right foot in and shake it all about. Then you need to take the One ring and drop it into the fires of Mt. Doom. After having done this, a giant unicorn with lazers will fly out of the lava and you'll need to kill it with rotten oranges. Good luck!

Or, you could try calling them or sending them an email.

hahaha. nah, i just wanted to test them. iv'e used digichili and afrihost before as well. mweb is by far much much better than both.

So who will you go with next month? You have to give 30 days notice.

Wow that was a lot of detail in there!

Exactly what I intended. It's irrelevant why, clearly it doesn't meet the OP's expectation so wants out Lots of threads around on MWEB issues. Personally I don't subscribe to their monopolistic policies, s'all.

Monopolistic? I don't see how they are. Could you expand on this, please?

As part of the Naspers group, they have a history of aspiring to their holding company's values at the expense of screwing Joe Pubic over. A search for this forum will uncover the facts. Network locked modems is another.

Perhaps. However, since I have joined them in March, I have not yet seen anything I would consider monopolistic. And nothing that would prevent me from leaving them if I am unhappy with them.

The complaints I have seen so far:

1) Bad service - some experience this. It's typical on any helpdesk
2) 30-day cancellation notice - Not standard, but not lock-in either
3) Slow speeds from time to time - covered in the Terms of Service

You are also not FORCED to take a network-locked modem, any unlocked one works. This is no different from a certain telco offering 24-month contracts to get a free modem.

Agreed. For reference: Slow speeds.

For me, I would rather stick with a larger, experienced and more stable ISP for obvious reasons.
