how to cancel mweb uncapped

I cancelled with them and moved to axxess express+ service is WAY better, and because im not there during the day the throttling once the threshold has been reached is no issue.

+ 1! (3 other ISP's deliver higher caps and no throttling, with client service you can actually rely on)

-1

Mweb rocks - I have no problems with them.

Yeah -- there is a thread somewhere here where people report downloadeding almost half a terabyte per month on MWeb 4mbps lines.

You can simply cancel over the phone, just like you ordered. :)

ok, i have had enough. So if i call them on Monday i can cancel and just pay for what i have used? Cause there is no way i am paying R500 odd a month for 12-23kbs on a 4 meg line

Ermm...

That's just awful... MWEB operations pretending that this isn't a hugescale problem for everyone with 4mb lines?...

That really is awful, and it isn't gonna shut anybody up about the terrible speeds we're facing... =/

Hi darxx

The reason for doing this is that there are customers on 4mb lines that are getting great speeds.
All we trying to do is establish why some customers get great speeds and others don’t. As you can agree there are many factors that can influence speed.

Agreed, I can validate this comment as my MWEB 4mb line always performs very well. I am getting 440KB/s at the moment.

Hi bradz

Thank you for the support and great feedback.

For me, I would rather stick with a larger, experienced and more stable ISP for obvious reasons.

Uh, other than Telkom (who don't offer uncapped), can you specify exactly which ISPs you consider to be larger, more experienced and more stable?

Just did a D/L test now.

Newshost 13kbs

Torrent 57kbs

all on a 4 meg line, but the speeds are very inconsistent dipping and raising at times going to 0kbs

Ah. Sorry Mweb opz..

Just seeing too many shotty moves from the isp's sides these days, and it is really starting to bother me.

With all the recent events like seacom initiation and all that, people just really expected huge change is all, and here most of us are getting slapped with giant speed drops, which i guess mweb can legally account for in all their disclaimers and all, but that doesnt change the fact that it's dam annoying and makes me wanna move to a different area just so i can try out iburst. I'm just getting desperate with unreliable, innefficient, and awfully throttled internet that we pay 1000% of international dsl rates for, and then also most of the time we have to deal with awful customer services at the same time?...

You see why i would be on edge right?.. These problems are all so ridiculous... =/

And also bradz, i am curious, are you on capped or uncapped 4mb?
