Is vodacom4me.co.za zero-rated yet?You can also register on vodacom4me.co.za and check your balances there.
Also remember the contract data bundles takes a while to update, so what you see isn't always what it is.
I always tell my clients to check this the morning after before they start using their 3G.
Yeah thanks Ginggs , I really like USSD and use it on my prepaid db on my home Laptop . Now that I have a netbook I would also like to monitor the data consumption , although it wont be a lot , I guess I will have to just brace myself for the odd "surprise" every now and then .
VD , if I new how to I would .
Thanks for your interest in helping me VD , but I dont know if this thing even has Vodaphone software ,as everything runs off Globetrotter Connect .
OK , now I am really shocked . My sim has been active for one day , firstly it says I had 177.42 threshhold on a 250 meg databundle , (that could be because it is pro-rata for the balance of the month) . I logged on to Vodacom4me last night and it said that I had used 2megs , from yesterday morning which sounds right as I just logged onto google to see if I could browse . Last night I was online for about 35 minutes (on this forum) which we all know doesn't really consume much bandwidth , and this morning when I logged onto Vodacom4me it says that I have used 104megs . Now normally with my prepaid sim I can spend up to 4 hours on this forum and only use 25 -30 megs . Why is this happening ? Is this Vodacoms way of making up lost profits on handsets ?
Is there any way of getting an accurate data consumption record ?
