How to get help with Windows Vista issues.

The Linux trolls and zealots make it next to impossible to have a coherent thread with Vista related issues. They post stupid comments, derail the threads and generally act like 2 year old's.

Here's a few Tech Support forums which you can register on to get the help you need.

Be specific with the thread title, don't just say "help!".
Write down any errors you may have received and mention it clearly in the thread.
Be specific with which Vista edition you are running, if you installed any new software/updates/drivers recently.
Make a short summary of the problem's you are experiencing and read your post through and make sure it makes sense before submitting it.
Be patient, if you have not received a reply in about 2 days, feel free to bump the thread and ask if they require more information.

Thank you for trying to help out, I appreciate it. It's sad that OpenSource, which should be software of "choice" contrasts itself with zealots that can't lend a helping hand.

Wow, great for you! Here, have a star *, stick it on your forehead, you've been a good boy.

The problem is trolling, keep Linux discussions in Linux threads and Windows discussions in Windows threads, not vice versa.
 
It's not that Linux people hate Windows. They just hate the crappy programming that M$ programmers do when trying to write an operation system (hey, you all know it is true... :D)

fruit i know thats not true

i know that i can work game and do all my personal stuff all on one platform, vista has yet to let me down and xp never let me down

there is nothing i cannot do on windows, tell me another OS that you can play any game and use any program on?

always compatibility issues, stop pushing linux because you know it aint perfect yet

when it reaches a point where it can do everything then come spread your linux BS all over these forums

how would u like if we came into your linux forums and pushed windows all the time? u would freak out so stop it because its lame

Erm, the linux threads get just as polluted with windows astroturfer garbage as the windows threads get with linux support.

Pot.. kettle.. foot in mouth..
 
Linux is good.

But it will Never overtake Windows as #1 OS... :D

I love my Vista, used Linux for a looong time, managed it at our ISP, and always thought it to be "ugly".

Anyway, my 2c.

Vista is bloated, but it works 100% for me, and fast to boot....

... sorry, couldn't help it, Linux ZEALOT (AUIR is the homeworld of the protoss.... oh nevermind)
