How to get US netflix working again

Heya ppl

I'm sure there are tons of people out there that, like me, used to run netflix via DNS trickery using tools like unotelly or unblockus.

Well, now netflix has made it more difficult to get around this, but fear not, there are other ways. I've tried and tested this solution, so works great!

Just follow this guide: https://github.com/ab77/netflix-proxy

Hmm, i really want to get this working but I really have no clue how to... Could i possibly ask for some info on how to install this? (what is this? a DNS for US netflix?). I read the instructions but I am uncertain how to use it... Thanks.

This, looks like a mission

Go to Unotelly.com and follow the setup instructions. Just note that this has been blocked for 90% of us. You might be in the 10% lucky ones

Yip, have got UnoTelly and it is working just fine. For all of those that unotelly is not working I suggest setting to Durban servers, this one is working just fine. If not, switch through the US Test 1,2 and other versions like Blend versions as I am sure one of those will work. Also remember not to panic if it stops working. This is just a challenge, nothing more and we will always have a border free internet, we have and always will adapt to these changes so a new product that is free or paid will come along. For now just use SmartFlix if possible as that is another option.

Since when does Unotelly have a Durban server? If so why are they hiding it from the rest of us?

Sorry, my bad meant Johannesburg server.... Looks like you are using it. I really do wonder why some people are having issues and I am not? How is Netflix blocking only some people and not just the whole IP range of unotelly?

How about other DNS services. Has anybody had any luck with something other than UnoTelly? I have tried just about everything, including blocking the Google DNS through my router, see here: http://help.unotelly.com/support/so...36-why-do-i-need-to-block-public-dns-lookups-

I have tried US Test 2 and 3 on Dynamo, I have set the DNS on PC as well as on router. I have logged a ticket with Unotelly and they have not gotten back to me. They suggested to my brother to use US Test 2 and it worked for him, not so for me.

So after spending quite some time over the weekend on this issue I have discovered that the issue is mainly with IOS devices and the latest version on NETFLIX app, i think its 8.1.1, they seem to have hard coded some DNS servers (Google DNS I think) and so no matter what type of proxy trickery you try to use it wont work with version 8.1.1. I have confirmed this since I tried it on a IPAD with an older version of the NETFLIX app and it works just fine. So my advice DONT upgrade the NETFLIX app to the latest version on IOS devices. IF you do then you will be stuck with only the SA selection. Not sure if this is the same for Android devices, perhaps someone can confirm this?

I think you are right. I managed to get NF USA going on my Amazon Fire TV, but the ATV3 does not want to launch Netflix.
