How to install Windows 10 - A guide

Installed dit just now. W10 Pro. Working like a charm. Will be doing my home PC tonight.

It can be that something on your machine is blocking specific updates, we blocked all the Windows 10 KBs early this morning meaning anyone of our clients searching for updates will see everything except windows 10 regardless of whether they are domain joined or not.
 
The windows icon is in my task bar and I expected the damn thing to be updated by the time I got home...

I also don't see any updates when I check in the update manager.
 
So my copy of windows 10 has been reserved etc and instead of waiting I downloaded and Tried an install via ISO ... Installs but doesn't activate ... Gives some error ... My suggestion is that people upgrade it within windows and then ISO install ... Reinstalled windows 8.1 :( and now waiting

Same here so fcking over this I'll stick to 8.1 thank you Microsoft for killing my mood

Also did upgrade via ISO and get Windows cannot activate message.Will give it a day or two and revert back to seven if activation does not work.
 
Why don't u guys just download the ISO from the official Ms link and then upgrade using the ISO ( do not fresh install )

On that windows thingy in the task bar right bottom, click in it and it should say Your windows 10 install is ready and then click continue

Can you maybe send me a link to what drivers worked?

The default windows update downloaded it and then said installation failed. No more info.

I then went online and saw everyone has issues with drivers not being compatible and windows update fetching incorrect stuff etc.

I then went onto nvidia's website downloaded 353.62 and it also just says installation failed.

Jip, can't find any drivers, I'm stuck on windows basic display. FML I should have just waited a month

Looking into it while its downloading. I'm sure someone on Reddit as sorted this out by now.
What is your setup Thor?

On reddit can't find shiat.

MSI G65 something mobo
16GB 1866Mhz Ram
AMD 6 Core 4Ghz CPU
Asus Nvidia Geforce 580GTX x2
