So my girlfriend is on break from varcity and I got her to try wow today while she's sitting at home doing nothing:p

Anyone know of a guide or something to help her out as she's never played mmorpg's or any game really other than card games and the like?! The manual helps a little but need something on simple things like movement, orientation and chat:rolleyes:

Any help appreciated:D

The ingame help helped me bundles when I started :D

Get her to log in on your char and run your BG's for you :p

My one mate used to tune when he has kids one day he wont spank them or anything when they're naughty ... he'll just make them run his Warsong gulch BG's for him :D

Utilizing the chat early ingame is very helpful, always asking questions does help. Everyone was once a noob at WoW, and help will always be given in the starting zones

She just started playing so doubt shed be able to, besides I'd rather jus spank her:o /joke

best way for you is to teach her yourself. don't let her figure it out for herself or read a tutotrial otherwise you end up frustrating her.

confused woman = frustrated woman = woman who will never touch WoW again

I'm working during weekdays, WoW was an attempt to keep her busy during this time. Just thought theres a guide out there some1 knows of that has step by step tutorials.

Her being bored= her frustrated= her not visiting me again while i gotta work:(

I think your best bet would be to have her play with some friends, Guild etc. if possible.

You guys can try out www.wow-pro.com. They are mostly levelling guides, which can help & point you in the right direction in terms of levelling.

I found the best thing is to just fiddle around, figure things out by myself & if I didnt know, I had Thotbott & WoW Wiki to help me... Theres nothing better than running around & going Oooh and Aaaah when you find something new by yourself :)

how can one n00b help another n00b?

that was like the time my drunk friend tried to help me (who is drunk as well) to the car. it doesn't really work....

There are always high levels in the starting zones mucking around

Install Questhelper ASAP, my girl HATED wow until I showed it to her, the chick grinded a Mage from 1-37 in a week?! :O...still going strong, actually tring to get her OFF wow now...

I told my sister to play wow , she didnt even know how to put a computer on, its simple just leave her, dont help her at all if she reads the tips etc they catch on much faster :>

now the hard part is to stop them from playing again.

That's the approach Im taking atm...."keyboard,mouse ..power button, Don't break anything I'll see you after work":p

Dude ... why let her suffer through leveling? I say again ... let her suffer by doing your BG's :D
