Hi all and thank you so long for your help.

I am new to iPAD and so far enjoy it very much.

When, for instance, I am in the e-mail program and want to go to (switch) to Safari, how do I do it? Is the only way to push the "home" button and then click on Safari. In windows it is alt-tab. I am just afraid that by hitting the home button, I exit the program.

Thank you again.

If you are using iOS 4.1 or above then you can double click on the "home" button and it will present a nice panel at the bottom with all your last opened apps.

Thank you Wesley.

I will check and trust py iPAD has this iOS on.

Regards,

Also if you have a Jailbroken iPhone / iPad you could get MultiFl0w. thats a pretty sweet multitasking tool. & you could enable gestures on your iPhone if jailbroken aswell but doesnt work as well as iPad as the surface is too small to and makes it awkward.

Multiflow is brilliant , but there is no Jailbreak for the Ipad 2 currently

iPad multitasking works a bit differently than normal computers. The app is "suspended" therefore will only do certain functions. So you can have many apps open without have a big impact

Install iBooks from the app store. The ipad manual is a free download.

Lynda.com also has a iPad tips and tricks course.
