I am going to get flamed now.

How young is too young to date?

Met this really amazing girl the other day. Very mature. Working whilst still at school, extremely young and really not bad looking.

NO PICS!

I asked her if I may have her number to call on her and she gave it to me.
Now this is purely for entertainment purposes at the moment. (movie, night out etc.)

But how young would be to young to make a move on and start a relationship?

She is 17 at the moment. I'm 31.

Depends on your age. 17 is old if you're 14.

But since you asked I don't even want to know your age tbh. I might just explode.

I was withholding my age on purpose but updated OP. since Mybb can be very harsh.

She's too young for me. She may not be too young for you. If it's legal do what makes you happy and god bless and all of that.

But watch out for her father.

Too young. She may seem mature, but I'm sure there's emo drama around the corner...

I am at a very bad time in my life right now , she smiles and greets me every day and it makes me feel much better.

I have picked up something is amiss with her. going to school every day then rush off to work after school can not be easy or fun. She works 7 days a week for less money than my entertainment allowance a month. I take it her family is not well off. Maybe even that she does not have both parents as she always only speaks about her mother.

It is still to early for me to pry and ask too many questions and the like.

Right now I am doing it for myself. I need to relax and forget about my troubles. And she scores movie nights with the odd diner out.

Be careful, she might see you as a father figure and you are misreading the signs....

FirstbornMoose is 17 and if she came home with a 31 year old MyBB member, well..... I guess i would show you how big a desert we have....

HO just shouted, you gotta wait till she turns 20 at least.....

Morty. If I was looking to score by all means. Companionship costs nothing with no strings attached. Maybe it is your daughter... Ill be coming around tomorrow for a beer and some of that burnt meat offerings... Future father in law.

No. Just NO! You are going to regret it! Listen to me... I have experience with this ;)

Make sure your affairs are in order before you visit. It will be your last.

If she's got so much troubles in her life, she's probably not in a position to make this kind of decision. She's got too much on her plate at such a young age for her to be making completely rational decisions.

Just be careful, whatever you decide to do. There's a lot of room for emotional damage here.

Hehehe! I know the were about's of both my daughters at all time, living in a wee town, I know people everywhere....

This being said, you would be more than welcome to pop in and have a few toots and piece of burnt offerings anytime.....

I always told my gals, that when the day arrives that they bring boys home that wish to date/marry them, they must first "pass" the test....... spend an evening with me at my fireplace..... drinking what I do.......

Cheers boet and good luck....

:D
