How's Tinder these days?

This app is a meat grinder. At every turn it's trying to get you to pay for an upgrade. Wonder how much bullshit goes on behind the scenes (paying models for pictures to use as subscription bait etc.). Messed around with Bumble and Hinge for a bit but dunno...not really enjoying it.
Then you haven't used Badoo yet. Need to pay 200 coins just to message someone.

Don't you think it's time you stopped fooling around and settled down? You’re not getting any younger…

I have a friend group consisting for 7 couples. Five of the couples met on tinder or bumble and those relationships are going strong, 3 of the couples have married and one is engaged.

The two natural meeting couples are a train wreck.

There is something to this because aligning on the fundamentals before meeting helps a relationship.

Two things I'm noticing:

1.) I'm gonna have to get over my thing with girls and small (lap) dogs.
2.) Before you pay you get loads of matches, then you pay and it dries up again. I see what's happening.

1.) There's something about someone with a little brak that's always up in their faces and on everything in the house that I don't dig so much. Dunno, we grew up with big dogs that lived outside. I know it's just me being silly but it is what it is. Probably not the deal breaker that something like smoking might be.

2.) Feels like the app baits you with matches but once you've paid (I got a week sub just to see what it was about) the matches die down a bit. Dunno, will see the next few days. Kinda interesting to wonder how the system works on the backend.

Likewise, it takes a certain person to have a little "brak". Usually the same types expect to be treated like their "little snuffles". i.e. do nothing but expect everything. That has been my experience. Proceed with caution..
