How's Tinder these days?

Tinder is the OG , does it give a far bigger selection but not as much “quality” in terms of your personal preference?

How do you get granular like no smokers with Bumble or is that a paid option?

Granular was paid on Bumble. Try Hinge while you're at it, not as bad as I initially thought. The free plan works better than Tinder or Bumble.

Also wtf is with people using pics of them like 10 years ago. I want to see you now, not how you looked back then.
 
What if I told you that most of the dating apps are owned by Match (including Tinder)?

The old pics thing is weird and then often the last pic will be the current one that’s not terribly flattering, don’t worry no one will notice..

Is there anyway to switch your profile off for a while on these apps, take a break without closing your account?
Or are you locked in for all eternity once you join

1.) There's more focus on the information about the person rather than just pics.
2.) Easy to filter results (smoking, religious, exercises etc.)
3.) Subscription options are simpler than Tinder.
4.) Mostly normal photo's - Hinge felt like model shots and Tinder filters & random ass photo's.

Tinder feels like anything goes, Bumble the same but you can at least state your intentions from the outset (casual, friends, relationship etc.) and Hinge just felt like I'd be spending my salary on expensive restaurants.

I recently came out a 9 year relationship and downloaded both Tinder and Bumble. Bumble has been a way better experience and I had way more matches plus the ladies there actually wants to speak and meet.

Not sure whats up the Tinder algorithm, i get little to no matches and then when I do conversations are dead.

Really hard to get a conversation going on Tinder, the app seems to give folks ADHD. I'm currently dating somebody I met on Bumble.

Meanwhile, and I realize that word is doing a lot of work here, the fictional dating app from the second season of “Ted Lasso” is coming to life through a partnership with the actual dating app Bumble. No, seriously, we’re not kidding:

In Ted Lasso, Bantr requires users to chat without seeing any photos of each other so that they can create a connection solely based on their conversations. To celebrate the Emmy Award-winning comedy—and to bring an exciting new dating journey to our community—Bumble is bringing a Bantr experience to life.

Bantr Live, as the new Bumble feature is called, will go live on October 13, with registration opening tomorrow. The Lasso-inspired feature will be available every Thursday at 7 p.m. local time for Bumblers through 2022. Honestly, how strange is dating in 2022?
