HP laptop login screen

On my HP laptop when you login in... I don't get the usual Windows login screen I get a different one, an HP one where I just put in the password... I don't like it so I want to get rid of it.

Right click on desktop, select personalize and change theme to windows aero for example, depends what windows ur using. Worth a try.

ok, its HP's Pre boot authentication, its to prevent people from accessing even the BIOS or booting an OS from CD.

You can switch it off in windows by Opening the HP privacy manager (cant remember the exact name)

run its wizard and turn off pre-boot security.
