FYI Ultra 2 coming soon, probably ±R3900 comparing current Ultra's overseas price? Quite pricy but I suppose some would be willing to pay the premium for a compact, quite & plug-n-play XBMC box (preloaded with OpenELEC).
If she has an Android/Apple smartphone, there are also free XBMC remote applications that can communicate with / control the HTPC over the local network, meaning you don't need to buy a remote/receiver. That was a major selling point for me with XBMC.
