Yes on my N36L but cannot get my Lan to work, awaiting the gurus to step up and take a swing.

Was an upgrade over the very Lan that now is not working so go figure.
No new driver was installed according to windows and sees it as Broadcomm Gigabit so a little out of ideas.
It reports that the Lan cable is unplugged so not sure.
I have not yet checked to make sure it is enabled in the Bios but it would not find it if it weren't. (this was a previous problem I encountered).

Otherwise, seems a little more responsive than the WIN 7 i previously had installed.

EDIT : Bios update and LAN working fine.

Hmmmm. You've got me worried to try.

But I remember going from 7 > 8 and having an issue. I think it was a BIOS update.

You have the latest?

I was running Win 8.1 after the update.

Installing 10 now to see what if the LAN issue is there :(

EDIT : Mine works from HP N40L with Windows 10 64 bit pro

Busy with the Window 10 update on my N40L. I had to do the BIOS update with Windows 8.1 to get the LAN to work, so doubt I'll pick up any problems.

What's a good graphics card to get for Linux. My hd5450 is giving me issues on Ubuntu. So thinking it's time to get Nvida.

Maybe 210 silent. Or something beefier?

The GT610 with fan works but it has a floor noise via hdmi on my Toshiba tv. Used it on Ubuntu at the time.

I use a GT720 (Fan) with no issues.
Thanks for the advice. Looks like I'm in for R600 - R900 if I have to get a graphics card. So now I'm considering, for similar cost, getting a Raspberry Pi 2 for media playback (using plex /pibmc) and use the server with Ubuntu as a media server/ download machine (without dedicated graphics) .

Am I missing something. Maybe with regards to hd decoding on the Pi?

pi2 with openelec will do the job but remember to add costs for IR and remote if you don't have those already.
