Must just buy a set I think. It's not a std Hex Allen key, it's a spline Torq drive. Not sure of the size, could check tonight. Probably a T4 or T5
You just reminded me to look. It's a T20Must just buy a set I think.
If anybody still wants one someone on Carbonite is selling a N40L with a broken ethernet port for R500, which I think is a major bargain.
Power surge which killed the onboard NIC? How long after did the motherboard die?Just be careful with this. Same thing happened to mine, which then also resulted in complete motherboard failure.
Actually a T10. Luckily had bought a set ☺.You just reminded me to look. It's a T20

Decided to chance it. Picked it up last night. Figured worst case I have a spare psu for my two other microservers.Power surge which killed the onboard NIC? How long after did the motherboard die?

Seems the onboard nic works as well.
Yeah. Coz i didn't check the onboard nic. Then today noticed it was lighting up so plugged in the cable and it registered.
Maybe he did do that. If he did I'll return it though.
Seems it's the n54 and not the n40 as well. Confused....Well then you scored a bargain I think, I sold my N40L with broken NIC and no HDD for double what you paid the day before he posted that ad.
