So my Gen8 is up & running for HTPC - is it just me or does booting take forever, my N40l was much quicker through bios

anything I can disable or change to speed things up?

Mine's also up and running. The boot times compared to the N40 is horrible.

there is only 45 units left of the HP Proliant Sever with 2GB out of 450 units that came in this week , we got a price today for a 1000 units and the price was horrendous cost (not selling price) is going to be around R 3699.00 excl vat and have to take 1000 units as a special order

Even if this one is sold out grab the 4GB version as that is still a bargain

This is a proper server. There is a reason it takes long to boot.

Yea I picked up that it booted like a real server. What do servers boot up like that?

No stock ETA is 6-8weeks but will check again on Monday with some one else who might have stock to see if we can buy out some as I also want one of those ( actually never thought about it )

are your guys also having issues with Cloudfare DNS Error 1001

I don't see any issues - it's actually a fairly strong processor
