I'm having some strange problems if anyone can help, this is my setup:
40 inch Sony Bravia
Sony 7.2 Home Theatre system
HP Proliant server
Windows 7 64bit
5GB Ram
2TB HDD
Msi GT 210 Graphics card - 1GB
All connected via HDMI
Okay here are the problems I'm experiencing:
If I leave the server unattended overnight, the next morning the screen is black but the server is still running - lights are on, fan still running etc. I have to restart it for it to show up on screen again. Any solution?
The other issue is an error message on xbmc - failed to initialize audio device(on certain movies) mainly with Dolby digital
Funny thing is that my amp does support Dolby digital and DTS so what's the problem?
Analogue works on all movies but on digital only certain movies work
All drivers are updated to the latest version available
Really frustrated
I am having the exact same problem.
No solution yet except powering it off and back on.
In Windows I have set it not to sleep etc. and power is on High Performance.
Room is well ventilated so I dnt know if the Card is maybe overheating or what.
If anyone is looking for a unit at the lower price I just ordered mine for R1400 and some change from BiosOnline
www.biosonline.co.za

I had/have the same problem, except all I needed to do is turn off my TV and turn it back on again and it'll 'reconnect' as such.
I bought the BB-RC2 remote with usb infared from PC-direct for 60 rand, and it works great with included remote, but I can't find any way to get the receiver to sync with my harmony remote. I thought I could just set it up as a Microsoft Multimedia keyboard, but the receiver won't recognize the commands. I've manually "taught" it the controls from the included cheapy remote, but it is quite limited. Any suggestions?
