Also getting weird speeds today (again)

Last Result:
Download Speed: 243 kbps (30.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 39 kbps (4.9 KB/sec transfer rate)

Last Result:
Download Speed: 226 kbps (28.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 35 kbps (4.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

Below is the data used to calculate your download speed:

* Download time: 20.922 seconds
* Size of file: 500 KiloBytes
* Estimated line speed: 195 (kilobits/second)
* Estimated line speed: 23.9 (kiloBytes/second)

These are more like 3G speeds, I suspect someone loaded software on the network again last night and now we all have to suffer. Funny thing is, thi smorning, speeds were rocking? Maybe there's a problem with base station serving the area at present?

Thanks for the info - I did not no that this site existed (should have read the entire thread first before breaking my way into the conversation ;) . I did a tracert on this address and I see that it is in fact inside vodacoms network, unlike the rest of there site which sits on SAIX so it should be a pretty reliable way of testing actual line speeds.
