I found I have to disconnect the current connection to send MMS on Vodacom, I do this using APNdriod widget on the main screen, push it to disconnect, send mms, then push it again to reconnect.

Anyone having a problem with the Locations app asking you to download a new map?

When i try download it, it just hangs and downloads nothing :(

never bother to try an mms as yet... actually I prefer not to have mms on my phone, cos then the guys at work use my phone as the official company phone to receive pics from clients :(
Since coming from an N900 without MMS capabilities, I dont really miss it that much :)

If you have the latest whatsapp on your phone, you can send pics, music, docs, clips, the whole lot. Who still uses mms??

HELP!! I have the HTC Desire HD with Android 2.2. Since I have started using it, my voicemail suddenly doesn't work. It is enabled on the MTN side, but the phone just does not forward the call to voicemail if I am busy or unavailable. I've double checked the voicemail number with MTN, spoken to both my service provider and the techie at HTC who refused to put me through to a more senior techie consultant, but no joy.

anyone else have had this problem and found a fix? I'm desperate!!

Howsit okes? Please answer those you can- no pressure to nail the whole lot!

[freeware naturally, or a disclaimer so I know to look for a version that 'fell off a truck']

1. What's the latest official MTN firmware? 2.2 or 2.2.1? Any other info you need from me? I bought phone from Duty Free, so it's not an MTN phone...
2. How can I change the default language and download more official language packs?
3. Where the hey can I get a BodyGlove/similar cover in CPT? Have tried everywhere! Dropped phone out of pocket already :(
4. Best screen protector? Anything recommended/available in CPT?
5. Need an app to hide/password protect certain files. So they don't show up in general gallery or document editors...
6. Anyone one running on CellC? I'm hoping to get the RedBull Mobile story as soon as it launches. Are speeds great? Assuming adequate coverage/load etc...
7. Best power widget to turn 3G on off, GPS on off, WiFi on off, Sync on off, screen brightness etc.
8. Heard of a tower defence game, similar to 'Bloons' Anyone know what it is or have anything similar that's cool?
9. Volume seems below par- in call and sometimes media too. Heard this could be something to do with using radio (which I don't). Anyone else 'been hevving' this? How to fix?

Cheers!

When oh when will SA get the software update!

Imagine how long till we get gingerbread!

Phone is still awesome, but heard battery life improve with update

Does anyone know if MTN has stock in already? Calling the call centre is just fail, they can never get the model right.

Ok, go to : All apps > Settings > Call > Voicemail service. If it says "My carrier", check underneath it for Voicemail settings and make sure the number is 100. So far so good.

Now click on Phone and it should bring up the dialer. Hold in the 1 and it should dial your voicemail. If you can get to this point, you should be able to reconfigure your voicemail from here. Just listen to the prompts.

Hope you get it working.
