i suppose. but then i must remember to charge the charger so that i can charge if i run out of charge. this is gonna be one of those phones where you have a dock or a charger at every single place where you spend more than 3 hours a day. one in the car, one at the office by the pc, one at home where i dump my keys & phone when i get home from work every day. maybe one by my bedside table. yep one there too. and a spare cable in the laptop bag. nice.

So MTNSP tell me they get their stock in on Tues and Thurs afternoons.

Im sick of waiting! Maybe I will get the galaxy S or the Iphone 4g today, could upgrade end of september already, that is ridiculous, everywhere in the world the phone is available except here, I have enough of that now!

I sympathise with you ... I could have upgraded at roughly the same time ... But I figure that if I have waited this long ... I can wait another week or two ... :)
 
Just got a call from Vodacom, they are expecting stock sometime next week.

I think they got into tune with our govirmint, which always promises to fix things in the next 5 or 10 years, but never immediately. :sick:
 
Well I'm feeling a bit more confident about next week. Initially vodacom had said middle of Nov. They haven't changed it till now.
And with Leaf putting it up on their website. the guy from lab88 saying Monday or Tuesday and the call from Vodacom, I'm starting to believe I might have the best phone in the world by next weekend.
 
well MTN retentions told me last week of Nov. as well. i'm holding thumbs.
 
Getting excited all over again with the prospect of the phone being here next week. I know im getting mine cos im already on that DHD contract. MTN is obliged to give me at least the 10th one, at least!
 
Does anyone know, if I upgrade on my anytime contract and I sign a 24 month MTN internet contract at the same time, will i get a further discount on the phone?

Guess it will depend if MTN sees you as a "very valued" customer. They have their own rules to determine that - think Vodacom warms up to you if you spend more than R1000 with them on a monthly basis.
