HTC DESIRE HD

I'm not so happy with the premium navigation, it guides me very funny. Did drive from alberton to oriental plaza and it avoids highways is guiding me very funny through the cbd. As well yesterday from hidepark to kensington was defiantly not the faster route.

And yes it is set to faster route and not to shortest.

Weird that. I ordered the original desire on my last upgrade and I had it before anyone else that I could see. And yes I'm from East London.

The one thing that grates me about the premium navigation is the volume of the speaker is so soft, you need all windows closed and radio off to actually hear directions

I have it via Bluetooth to the radio connected, listen to mp3 and it fades in nicely

I have come to terms with my small scratch and it really isn't that bad, I never notice it if I don't really look out for it. I'm going to stick to leaving my DHD naked.

I would also like to know.

Maybe a big night out and put the car keys in the same jeans pocket as your Desire HD? Now that might be ouch, but the phone's screen is scratch-resistant.
 
No clue... mines either been on my desk, or in an empty pocket. The scratch is barely noticeable.
 
Just a quick one on the subject - my Desire freaked me out badly about 2 days after getting it when I also saw the glint of what I thought was a feint scratch in direct sunlight...

The screen actually has a diamond-shaped grid of almost invisible lines criss-crossing it - it's got something to do with how the capacitive screens work. Just make sure it is actually a scratch. ;)
