True! It's much more noticeable on the Desire HD (you can see the dots clearly if you tilt it in direct sunlight, with the screen off) than on my iPhone.
 
Okay, am now trying a different kernel on my LeeDroid ROM. OC'ed to 1.2Ghz using SetCPU.

Let's see whether that makes a difference.

Ja I also noticed that, but ja, mine is without a doubt a scratch.
 
I wanted to make sure before I purchased anything, is expansys reliable and effective, do they really deliver in 10 days? I usually import via take2 but its going to take too long. thanks for any help.

Why dont you just get the 14in1 from ebay. With the current exchange rate it's like R205 bucks with shipping!

I don't have any experience with importing without using the middle man. Can you guys change the tracks playing with the headphones controls? mine can't for some reason, the only thing it does it make the last call and end it, that's it.

I bought my charger/car cradle from them, pretty efficient

If you want, you're welcome to pay the cash to me... and I'll order two... going to order in the new year though... don't want to risk it over Christmas, to many delays.
 
I bought a XXL Iphone hipster pouch R169.00 and universal screen protectors (three in pack) R49.00 at MTN Boksburg (Rietfontein rd.) that should do me fine until something better show up.

Cheap and available.

Con's
Hipster pouch are tight fit for HD but but must do for now. The leather should stretch?
Universal 6" (80mm*120mm) screen protector must be trimmed to fit. You need keen hands and decent scissors. There are grids on the peel of cover to cut.

Tips.
Make sure the LCD screen are very clean before applying the protector (use spectacle cleaning cloth rather) and do it in a dust free area. The smallest dust particulates may cause air bubbles which are difficult to get rid of.
 
Hi Guys,

Been following this thread for quite some time now. Thanks for the help in swaying me towards this monster. Applied for it via telephone last Tuesday and received the phone at 9am Friday morning. Considering that Thursday was a public holiday that is awesome service from MTN Retentions. I just cant seem to stop playing Angry Birds. Highly addictive and i have killed my battery on multiple occasions with this game. For those of you that are married, how do you pry the phone out of your wife's hands? Mines hates touch screen phones, well, until last Friday i guess. :)

can your headphone controls change track with the stock music player? mine can't, should I return it. funny enough it they work fine with mixing music.player.
 
I received my 12 in 1 set from ebay yesterday! Really excellent value for money!!! I luv it!! Just a bummer 2 try 2 fit the screen guard!!!
