HTC DESIRE HD

Lol! I'll take pics today! I have a leather one with belt clip, but find it makes it bulky in my bag, so it would most probably suite a guy (very nice pounch) - R50. I have a few of the silicone ones, which is also very nice (black, clear) - R30. I've also got 3 PO S550 PHONE PULL UP LEATHER POUCH CASES (it is not the original with the HTC logo on it) - R20.

I've got the Soft Crystal TPU Gel Case (Red) on my phone and I love it, even though I don't think it is as protective as the leather ones! This i've only got one of, and that I am using ;) But I can give a link to the website!

I ordered a little leather (fake probably) pouch, R20 - not wanting a belt blip - or a clip on cover, because I also ordered a clip in car mount.... :)

Considering getting a solar charger as welll .... for tines when I go camping (which is never)

Since 2.2 it stores it on the sd card.

Where did you read this????

When I install my applications from the market - they are installed on the Phone memory.
When you goto: Menu >> Settings >> Applications >> Manage Applications ... select All ... then select an application you installed ... like google goggles or whatever ... there is a button to move it to SD card ... or if it is already on sd card .. the button will display "Move to phone"...

I use a nice app that tells you if an app can be moved to the SD Card...
check it out ... http://www.appbrain.com/app/app-2-sd-free-%28move-app-to-sd%29/com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd

I am waiting to get my grubby little paws on a 32G card ... then I can use this app and free up some space on the phone ...

I thought it was standard that it installed to the SD card in 2.2
SD Card 2.2

I will check when I am home if this is true. Waiting for my pouch before I use my HD properly! :)

I don't think that it is by default ... It depends on whether the developer has catered for the app to be install on the phone or the card ...
Check out Angry Birds under Setting/Manage Apps ...
I get the option to "Move to phone"
Whereas my Dolphon Browser has the "Move to SD card option"

I installed these apps in exactly the same way ...

sigh im having an issue with the shortcuts i've put in folders on the home screen or the 1 to the left of it,
when ever i reboot some of the icons pics dont come back, i've moved most of my apps to the sd card
but not all of them have this issues ... to fix it i have to delete the shortcuts and recreate them
untill the next reboot which bugs the crap out of me.

anyone know any fixes for this?

In the link you posted here it clearly states :

One of the plagues of using Google’s Android platform was the inability to install Android apps and games to the SD Card versus internal memory storage; with the official announcement of Android 2.2 this feature will come standard. By default, apps will continue to be installed on internal memory storage, however a quick visit to the list of applications in the Settings menu offers one touch to move the app to SD Card. Thus they are playable just fine from the SD Card. Now user storage for apps and games will only be limited to the storage of the SD Card purchased.

Great thanks :) My bad

I keep getting link matches... it says "HTC matches - 6 contact matches"

Then when I open it,they all say VCard - Request - Ignore"

It doesn't stop - what the hell is it? If I click Ignore All - it appears later in the day. And the contact count keeps changing, once it was 700 odd.

I also get confused about link matches, I just dismiss them, they dont seem to reappear.

found a nice app for scanning business cards - camcard - now I don't have to fight the endless stream of cards anymore.

Sooooo, finally got my antenna cover. I can once again use my phone. I posted a complaint on hello peter about leafs issues and they called me. They even chucked the cover in for free. :)

Just wish we didnt have to resort to hello peter.

Feels good to get rid of my crapberry.

Hi, any idea where I can get a car cradle from with charging capabilities. I'm in the cape town area. Thanks, cheers

Sent from my Desire HD using MyBroadband Android App

Don't think you'll be able to get decent accessories locally, only the generic variety....

Whats the avg use you guys getting out of your DHD. Getting 3 days now instead of 1. I changed my charger to a 400mAh
