schweet!!! will install in the morning, and then i'll post a quick 'how to' guide for those interested.
 
Urmm, from the resources it seems that there is still some problems with the GPS signal. There might not be an antenna in the TyTn. Will keep you updated.

the issue seems to be more software driven ... the P 3600 doesnt have a conventional antenna just like on the TyTN ...
I got a fix on 7 satellites yesterday which was damn impressive ... Dot Vibe have you taken the plunge yet ???

I'm still waiting for someone else to make it work flawlessly before I commit myself to installing a radiostack with a v1.08 bootloader. :eek:

Microsoft is closing down all unofficial sites with ROM resources .. i got hold the ROM for the P3600 that enables the GPS .. just need to extract it and get it running on the TyTN ... it should work.
 
I sure hope it does. Some people are saying that the GPS antenna is not connected.
 
What is the latest news on the new ROM that will be released in March for the Tytn?

Where will we be able to get it or download it and what will it include?

Will WM6 ever be available for us Tytn owners...?

The March ROM will be available from the leaf website.

There will never be an official WM6 ROM available to TyTn owners, though we are hoping that someone will cook up a hacked ROM with WM6 for the TyTn. No telling when/if that might happen though.
