HTC One X

Yeah 4.2.2 ifs pretty good. I've stuck to Sense instead of going back to aokp

How can one prefer stock to AOKP!!! AICP is a bit iffy atm tho but it will get there. Waiting for my contract to run out and will be getting the Nexus 5. :D

I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me. For some reason, my One X is stuck on version 3.14.401.27.

The phone is stock, unrooted. Is there a way to download and install the missing ota updates and somewhere to download them from?

Flash a RUU to make it back to stock, then OTA updates will come naturally

Are there any Kitkat ROMs for the One X yet? I've been running stock for 13 months now but I want Kitkat. And I feel like moving to a more Google-ly looking experience.

Just had a quick look on xda. Looks like magiorom is on 4.2.2

KitKat is 4.4

Should note here for anyone that doesn't know: HTC has announced that the One X will not be receiving a KitKat update :wtf:

According the index on xda, the only KitKat rom for the One X is CM 11, which still looks quite buggy.

I'd suggest the official CM10.2 rom for a bug-free Google-ly experience.

Thanks! I'll have a look at it sometime. Will be my first attempt at installing a ROM so I'll do some research before diving in.

running the cm11 22 jan nightly build. so far i am quite impressed by it.

edit - the usual aosp battery usage being poor remains.
