Pro: 18.1mm thick
Xperia: 17mm thick


Also weight plays a big factor, the Diamond is only 110g, iPhone,X1, Pro are all over or around 150g. Means something to me!

That is also one factor has my attention. I always thought "just a few grams" till I held a tytn II of my friend, it feels heavy. I'll wait and see how the Pro and x1 feels.

Yip, it answers all my requirements in a phone, Looks good, fully specced small, light and thin!

Thanks for the heads up dude, I know what you mean though, just a YouTube vid here and a quick download there and your bill hits the ceiling: D

I agree, I had the N80 before my Diamond and the weight and size was really starting to get to me, that’s why I just had to have a thinner phone..The problem with getting a chunky phone is that the novelty wears off and you left with a brick that is just a pain to lug around :p
 
@JK8 - You posted earlier in this thread about upgrading your codecs as the sound was bad on your Diamond - May I ask where you got the codec update? Thanks ;)

One of the guys at work whos been trying to get me to use WM for the past year mailed me a cab file, Ill ask him where he got it from and will let you know.;)

Does anyone know if you are able to use the HTC Touch Diamond as a modem?

I've read that this is not possible with the iPhone.

1) Pair the PC/laptop and Diamond on a Bluetooth PAN
2) Start Internet Sharing on the Diamond (Start>Programs) and share the 3G/GPRS conenction
3) Connect the laptop to Diamond PAN
4) Surf away at whatever your network supports at your location.

Step 1 is a one-time set-up.

Just out of interest, does the TyTn version support most/all features or is it one of those very basic clients. Basically does it have skinning, camera, mxit markup functionality etc?

Ok I just tried it on V5.6
emoticons, markup, vibes etc all work.
Photo capture doesnt

Hi can someone please tell me how copy movies from your comp to your because i think im doing it wrong! Thanks

I have a question with regard to the music player - when you go to music you should be able to see all the album folders one behind another, however I can only see the album of the artist i just played - how do i see all artists so i can flip through them? :confused:

Press down I think... I dont think you can see all, only the next 3 songs.

Doesnt work, push down just goes to the next song on the album open..Anyways i will figure it out, thanks :)

Any news on those codecs? I must say I am shocked how bad the sound is through the headset :eek:
 
Copy and paste to where and for the music just click in the bottom left the go to libary, you will see them all!
