HTC Touch Diamond

Last I asked, I was quoted R6855 by Leaf.

The phone has 4GB of internal storage that is used simlarly to the hard disk in your PC - it has 192 MB RAM for running programs/browsing and whatnot.

Can we buy it directly from Leaf?

Must be some program problem/error. Try another browser?

I take it you are using Opera 9.5 beta - maybe that's the problem? Try the same using IE...

Otherway around:) Operas much better thanks.
So far this phones excellent!! Apart from the battery life but I think its coz im playing with the phone to much!

If anyone has a HTC TD they want to swap with a HTC TYTN 2 that's 2 weeks old then pm me... I didn't find a buyer through the advert i put on but marked it SOLD cos the nigerians are just too hectic...

So I plugged in the headsets to listen to some music, I cannot believe that this phone, so "advanced" can have the worst Walkman player EVER!!
I doubt a cheap 100 Motorola sounds this bad!

I dont want the best play but why give us the worst?:mad::mad:

@JK8, did u use the 'sound enhancer'?

moto's always sound the best with sound, do you have your old moto usb headset? it should fit

i don't use those head phones either, my other stereo bluetooth ones work very nicely with it, note that i ave SRS WOW installed, and also note that i would rather back up my phone before installing that, you also need to go through the registry, xda should know. also seems to play longer with the bluetooth ones

I upgraded the codecs, plays much better now. Ill go look for some Moto headsets....

Got a 3.5 jack thingy with SE W960 earphones!:)
iPhone watch out!:p

I used R600 worth of data in 1 week!
How can I check data usage on the phone?

SPB GPRS Monitor also shows connection speed and bytes transferred - I have it on-screen when the laptop's connected to the Diamond using Bluetooth PAN. I'm really battling to use my monthly 500GB data package, so this is a useful tool to ensure I up my 3g data usage.

Not using Youtube any more, no more FB/Mxit/internet/downloading apps/no more auto weather updates nothing!:mad::mad:
Used R800 already! Need to survive till the 3rd.... my bills on 2K:(

Ah well, My Diamond is history.

I'm embarrassed to say, chaps, but it fell out of trousers pocket into the toilet, can you flipping believe it. After falling asleep in front of the telly, I awoke around 1am, sleepily pocketed phone and stumbled upstairs. Wife was sleeping and the toothbrush charge light isn't enough to ensure correct aim in dark, so I sat down for a No.1. That went fine. Then I stood up and heard a crash-splash-plop.

My wife woke up anyway.

A 10-year run of no damage/loss with uncountable PDAs has ended in ignominy. It wasn't on contract but a cash purchase. I shouldn't have bothered to, er, fish it out, but at least it was just a number 1.

A quick test confirmed the delicious Diamond was not waterproof. I then took out the SIM and battery, thoroughly washed everything under the hot tap, dried it with loo paper and the wife's haird dryer. I can confirm - in case you're wondering - that the HTC Touch Diamond cleans beautifully under running water.

Big (bog?) problem now is what to get as a replacement - I just loved the VGA screen.

Lessons learned:
1. Never ever ever again will I sit for a No.1, no matter what my favourite woman says.
2. Always P standing up.
3. Men of the world, stand up for your right to stand!
4. Henceforth all late night Ps will be in the garden!

LMAO!! :D

Shame man that really sux! Maybe there is a chance it will still work if you left it to dry for a few days...I remember I dropped my Samsung in bog one drunken evening and then proceeded to throw it across the room into a wall, next day put it together and it worked great for about 3 months and finally gave up.

Are you insured? If so get the same phone..
