dotVive do you perhaps have a link to the LVSW Rom.
They seem to have removed the links on the XDA forum and the torrent link posted there no longer exits.

I need a cheap and in excellent condition HTC TYTN I want to pay cash

I need one now in NWG as they are implementing the apps and some programs onto the TYTN

Damn, that is a cryptic sentence ....... what I meant was that you could have gone to their Website and seen that they have like 10 branches in PTA / JHB region. They sell 2GB for around R500 or less if I remember correctly. I would much rather buy it from a shop than of the net as these things have a tendency to either be OOBF (out of box failures ) or work as they should until you loose it in a bowl of chip 'n dip.

PS. Has anyone managed to install a PDF viewer on WMXL 0.20 ? Have tried Adobe, XPDF and Foxit .............. no joy ! I really need to get the PDF working.
 
MyDraadloos - You asked why I didn't try typing their website? When you could have answered - the former and then give me their website. Given I did not know a company such as computer corporation, and I was in no hurry to get the card, to simply wait for you to answer was a far easier option then to search if the company existed.
 
has anyone got a copy of the LVSW roms ? I am not haveing any luck with rapidshare...

I had to wait (and I actually did wait) 66 minutes to get my download.
If you're in the PTA area you most welcome to come get it or I'll be happy to upload it somewhere - anyone have an FTP site we can use?
 
I have setup a local ftp to upload roms and any other wm6 or tytn/jasjam/hermes stuff anyone has . and accessable at www.inet4.co.za/wm6
If anyone wants to contribute to it, please pm me and i will provide ftp login details.
 
Storage of emails on data card

Hi

Does anyone know how to change teh storage of emails that currently defaults to the phone memory to store this on the SD data card?:confused:
 
I've just recently (yesterday) started using the slide out keyboard. It's a bit of a bummer that things like the question mark move around because I am using South Africa as my local. For instance instead of Button+E for ? as on the keyboard it's actually Button+F. Button being the button below the Cap/Shift key.

Jongi, Which ROM are u using?
I'm using this one on my Tytn and with locale set to SA my keyboard works fine:
WM6_Themed__LVSW_Radio_1.34.00.10_SPL_1.10.Oli
 
OK guys,
am now on WM6 Black Edition 1.1

Seems as stable as LVSW, and as fast as XDA 0.20. Pretty good so far. Will keep you updated.

I am using xda Live 0.20.0.

I am going to install LVSW WM Pro 15-03-07 later today as I already have the 1.34 radio.

The black sounded cool, but the all black colour just sounded to bleak and not suited to our sunny climate ......... me thinks.

Phone Alarm beta rocks, just wish my credit card was not maxed out so I could buy a license. A the current rate of ROM's I will be reinstalling it every month any way.

Battery Status would be even cooler if it also had profile manager.
 
I find that Black edition is a bit speedier than than LVSW. It also have a few more useful apps installed. Too soon to tell, but LVSW wifi was maybe stronger. If its a bit dark, you can always just change the theme. :D

BTW - New Radio ROM available: Ver 1.38.00.10

remember, the safest way to flash radio stack is having HARD-SPL installed first:

then flash radio update while activesync is connected
