HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

Now thats all a question of personal taste. I like the black front and rounded buttons of the imate as compared to the silver square buttons of the htc...

Im in for the iMate.

Well done MTN
:)

Ok guys. Here you go.

On the Procall 120 and up. This is at MTNSP

HTC TyTN = R2299
i-Mate Jasjam = R2600

So I'm actually glad I didn't wait two more days to find this out before I upgraded. Maybe it will be much cheaper when I upgrade my other contract March/April.

Good to see we are finally seeing some movement on this matter.

I wonder if we will have an official response from MTN by the end of the week? As history suggests, probably not.

Hey there,

Guys

Sorry I only got back to work today, but I'm glad to see these phones are now available on price plan

Hi MTNDD

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news for you but I have just phone my local MTNSP and neither the HTC or the i-mate appear on any price lists.

We are back to square one again and waiting...

The pricelists was printed before the TyTN/Jasjam were made available. I received a call from Richard Gardner at headoffice that told me the phones are available.

The call centres don't know anything, as usual.

This is exactly what I alluded to in my post. Thank you Piesang for having been able to source some info, but we have had NO OFFICIAL comment from MTN on pricing, and when you access the normal channels to enquire they are still unaware of the phones.

I've emailed the call centre manager and will advise ASAP

@dotVIBE

All you need to do is phone 0831808 or 808 from your phone and ask for the retensions department.

Stock is in our warehouse. It will be available on all price plans, but I don't know what the pay in will be. This gets calculated by Moosa Essa's department.

Guys, I think this is fairly insulting! After everything that has been said and done on this forum and the reply on hellopeter, the efforts that MTNDD and Snakepit have been too (much appreciated), I think that someone has lost the plot.

Has MTN still not realised that as clients we are not terribly interested in what your own internal issues are. I have no interest in why the process is broken. I would like to know when the phone will be available and what the pay in will be. It is as simple as that.

I am now forced to look at other options after 8 years.
