The lady picking up the phone at MTNSP Century City ask me if the 3G Data Card and Antenna is two different things. lol

Can you believe that?

No I can't

Eish!

has anyone actually purchased an antenna for the MTN data card because no one at any mtn outlet actually seems to know that they even exist or that they will possibly exist in the near future.

MTN DD, I have PM'ed you with my email adress. Please forward the picture of the antenna to me as well.

MTNDD, thanks for the pic.

It looks just like the Vodafone one someone gave me, but the connector wouldn't fit through the hole in the yellow plastic and I didn't want to force it.

The connectors looked like they would mate, and I thought of removing the yellow plastic, but couldn't find an obvious way of doing it without possibly breaking it.

I hope you can help in getting this antenna issue sorted out, I've had an ongoing battle on hellopeter for the last month.

The latest is Lynton from the MTN Network Group is prepared to come to my house and my father's house and install yagi antennae (at no charge!), but he can't because he doesn't have the connectors for the cards, and can't even get hold of a unipole antenna to make up a pigtail as MTN SP have them and haven't allocated any stock for MTN Network Group.

Hey all, picture of the antennae on behalf of MTNDD,
