Huawei AX3 Router

Hard reset it. And then cable it up. IIRC you don't push any buttons when cabling it. Just make sure to use the correct ports
That's the first way I tried it, with a cable.

Sanity check, which are the correct ports?
On the secondary router, the wan port.
On the primary router, any of the lan ports, does matter which one? I've used port 1 and 3.

Edit: Is there a specific firmware version for the WS5200 I can try?

Lan on primary and wan on secondary yes. But make sure the router has been reset first.

I'm not home at the moment so can't check firmware versions.

Have you tried with WS5200 as primary?

Thanks for the link, I am aware of that and did try every thing.

I have had the WS5200 as primary yes, still couldn't mesh.

Is there a detailed User Manual available for the Huawei AX3 Router that we can download from somewhere ?

We only find the short 15 page Quick Start Manual, which only details the initial connections and setup.

Electronic devices don't come with manuals anymore. I haven't seen one in yonks.
I fully agree with you about the printed User Manual in the box, but all routers from TPLink, Netgear and Zyxel that I have used recently all had a detailed User Manual in pdf format that you could download from the manufacturer's website.

@AfriGuy @Afrigirl @AfriNatic I done goofed. I wanted to change my free-to-use router from delivery to collection and I couldn't find an option to do so, so I cancelled the previous order but now when I try to order the router again it wants to charge me R999. Help!

Please drop me a PM with your email address.
A router order must be linked to a new fibre line order to apply the discount. It is also possible that the cancellation of the previous order has not been completed
