Huawei B315s-936

Good evening,

My Huawei b315s-936 router got bricked by load shedding, so I didn't know what to do and took it to a repair guy who flashed it, but it's old firmware and my imei number is gone, can I use NV ram to erase and restore the firmware back to original?

I know this is almost a year later. Just wondering; were you able to sort out your router. I have the same problem and am looking for the latest Telkom firmware to update mine

Thanks..many thanks...i got help reviving it from a member on this forum. I have been scouring the internet for a current firmware version to no avail. Am on v329

Thanks so much Kinglv...i actually had been given that version...it is v321. So after scouring some more, i stumbled on a v329 for Polkomtel which also has a USSD feature that i use. Am still looking for SA Telkom one that is v329 and above. In case you have one or stumble on a Telkom one that is v329 and above, please share. Again, many thanks

After that scare i had, am sticking to stock firmware

Pleasure. From what I could tell the last firmware was v333 released. Was not able to find it. For lsome reason my router refuses to update as it fails everytime.

Could be the OTA updates are broken on v321.

..yeah, it could be a broken OTA link or perhaps a tweak on config file can help. After flashing the v321 file i was given, i was also unable to update online. It kept returning that the router was up to date. So when i stumbled on polkomtel firmware v329, i flashed that instead. I will keep looking
