Huawei Mate 20 Lite

As with all phones, the first month or two is crazy expensive before dropping to a 'normal' price. This phone is likely going to be R7,000ish or lower.

It's a little tough to compare these one off specials or clearance pricing of a last gen phone, to pricing of a just about unreleased phone.
True that.. It might even go lower than that. Look at the note 8...almost half the price a year later

Telkom and cell c do have dual Sim options especially from Huawei
Phones are multi SIM and WiFi calling works on Cell C. By example WiFi calling on Huawei Y6 2018 from Cell C is supported, but the same model from Vodacom is a single SIM, bloatware loaded and neither. VoLTE nor WiFiFi do work.

So is it the operator software issue here?

So is it the operator software issue here?
Correct. Both features require operator specific carrier update, but Vodacom do it only for flagship phones. And VoWiFi service works only from time to time. Imagine you go overseas and service stop working, disaster. Cell C do not have VoLTE yet, but VoWiFi works well, you can depend on it.

I'd like to see what the new Xiaomi's look like before i buy. My Redmi Note 2 has a FHD screen but my P20 Lite in HD+ mode looks the same.

If you buy a Xiaomi or OnePlus or any of the other phones mentioned ... What is warranty and parts availability like?
